@ Natsu - If you like Pepsi more than Coca-Cola, that doesn't mean Pepsi is better and that's "the truth". It simply means that's just your opinion. Other people might have a different perspective.

Don't present your opinion as indisputable fact. You're just inviting further disagrees.

I agree with you, but this just goes to show that people really need to stop taking review scores and meta averages so seriously and start thinking for themselves and making up their own minds.

There are no Kinect articles on the PS3 channel. Go away troll.

VGchartz is NOT a reliable source. Using the words "VGchartz" and "accurate" in the same sentence is an oxymoron.

For some strange reason, the first game that came to my mind when I looked at that picture was the original Deus Ex.

I completely disagree with you Natsu. DMC4 was a great half-game, and that was its big problem. You got halfway through the game and you turned back, playing the same levels, fighting the same enemies with a different character. But even with this huge flaw, it still looked great, played great, and I enjoyed DMC4 more than I did Bayonetta.

I simply don't understand how the gaming media failed to acknowledge Bayonetta as a DMC clone. Take DMC3, replace Dante with a dispr...

I also enjoyed the first Mortal Kombat, along with the first Tomb Raider and Resident Evil movies. They were no masterpieces... I wouldn't even say they were good, just good enough to be entertaining. And sometimes that's all I expect from a movie: to be entertained and not having to think or give a meaning to what I just watched. Doom was also interesting in a "so bad that it's good" kind of way.

Most of all, this list needs more Uwe Boll. Alone in th...

It says so in the article, but personally, I hope we can still use the DS3.

That's your choice, but by the look of things, it's also your loss. I'll take a great single player over a multiplayer that I have to share with glitchers, exploiters and cheaters any day. Red Dead Redemption was long, looked good and it had multiplayer, but I found it very disappointing.

Poorly written is an understatement. This is misinformed ignorant crap.

The author completely disregards the full PS1 backwards compatibility included in every PS3 system. Also he fails to mention that the Xbox 360 is only compatible with a limited selection of original Xbox games, that is no longer being updated and you still need a hard drive to play them.

@ Hallmark Moment:

Honest question here: if you can't see the button prompt in this picture ( http://www.gamespot.com/ps3... ), then how on earth are you able to tell the differences in resolution/textures/aliasing between the PS3 and 360 versions of any game?

After seeing the PC version in action, it feels kinda pointless to compare both console versions. One might look better than the other, but both pale in comparison to how jaw dropping the game can be on a capable PC. Granted, all games look better on PC, but this one truly surprised me and is on class of its own.

@ sunnnyd: You went through all the trouble of making that list and still left out the most infamous of them all - Bungie/GreenRingOfLife. *shakes head*

7 years development cycle? So, GT5 was being developed 2 years before GT4 was even released? And what truth are you expecting to come out once the game releases? The Kotaku brand of truth? Go back to your 360 and your schizo little world.

And trolls like you are the ones who keep crying about how this site is filled with PS3 fanboys that take bubbles away from non-biased users like the one you think you are.

You do understand that the article is about the PS1? Dreamcast was a 6th generation system, competing with the PS2.

The Saturn was the console that SEGA released to compete with the PS1 during the 5th generation.

It was only a matter of time before someone came here to stand up for the site that reported Forza 3 pre-rendered footage as real-time ( http://kotaku.com/5284616/f... ) and GT5 real-time footage as pre-rendered ( http://kotaku.com/5365464/n... ).
